For this project, I led a full-scale migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace for a mid-sized client seeking better integration with their existing workflows and cost optimization. From initial discovery through post-migration support, I managed every phase of the process. I began by conducting a thorough audit of the client’s existing Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online mailboxes, OneDrive storage, calendars, and shared resources. I then developed a tailored migration plan that minimized downtime and aligned with the client’s operational priorities.

I handled domain verification and DNS configuration, created and provisioned user accounts in Google Workspace, and ensured proper organizational unit structure and group permissions were in place. Email and calendar data were migrated using a combination of native tools and third-party utilities, depending on the specific needs of each mailbox. I also migrated OneDrive files into Google Drive while maintaining directory structure and access controls. Throughout the process, I maintained a strong focus on security, ensuring proper configuration of authentication policies and user access management.

To ensure a smooth transition, I provided detailed documentation and hands-on training for users and administrators. I addressed compatibility concerns, updated integrations with third-party services, and remained available for support during and after the cutover. This end-to-end migration showcased not only my technical proficiency across both platforms but also my ability to manage projects independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and deliver reliable solutions tailored to client needs.
